Overview

The BBSHD Mid Drive kit offers extreme power and torque for some amazing off-road thrills. It is extremely versatile and will handle anything you can throw at it. The 1000W motor is to be used off-road only as it is not legal on UK roads. It is easily able to reach speeds of up to 35mph out of the box, and this can be increased to 45+ with tuning.

A mid-drive motor works by transferring its power through the gears of the bike instead of directly to the wheel, meaning it can always be operating within its optimal RPM range, making it very power effective and great at climbing hills.

Important Things To Check

Please ensure that the bottom bracket of your bike is between 68-73mm wide.

You will also need to consider space around the bottom bracket for the motor. This kit does not fit press-fit bottom brackets.

The motor will replace the current chainring or crankset set you have.

Bottom Bracket Examples:
This kit will only fit 68-73mm square taper bottom brackets and threaded bottom brackets.

If your bike has a Square Taper Bottom Bracket or a Threaded Bottom Bracket, this kit will fit your bike.
If your bike has a Press Fit Bottom Bracket, get in touch as this kit won’t fit. We can recommend an alternative kit for you.
