Overview

The 250 rear-hub motor is the most budget-friendly option for converting your bike. Although not bringing in as much torque as our mid-drive motors it still delivers an impressive 45Nm which is plenty to climb hills with up to a 20% gradient. The 250W motor is completely street legal in the UK and will be delivered to you with a 15.5mph speed limit. However, if riding off-road, you can remove this limit enabling you to reach speeds of up to 17mph. All wire connections on this kit are waterproof so you’ll be able to go out in any conditions.

Important Things To Check

This is a front hub motor with a ETRTO 622 rim, please check your wheel size. It will fit most 700c, 27.5″, 28″ and 29″ wheels but not 26″ wheels, there is a separate kit for that. This will not fit fat bikes, for those you should look at our BBSHD. This will only fit slotted dropout forks.
